Physiological frequency band (physio band)

18–33 Hz; separate vibroreceptor band 100–109 Hz

MIDA

Short definition

The frequency band with expected training effect (literature: Volchek, Kurchanova); shown as the yellow band on the sweep chart.

Full definition

The 18–33 Hz physiological band is the agreed window of vibrobar working frequencies (config: FREQ_PHYS_LOW/HIGH_HZ) where the stimulation effect is expected without overload. The separate vibroreceptor band 100–109 Hz should be avoided. On the frequency-analysis page the 18–33 Hz band is shaded yellow (legend: “physio band”).

Examples

A working frequency of 25 Hz sits at the center of the band.
