Frequency sweep

MIDA

Short definition

The sweep — a continuous pass over the full frequency range: all response curves computed 10–200 Hz (381 points) with the real machine force F₀(f) ∝ ω². “Peak of the sweep” is the curve maximum over that pass.

Full definition

The frequency sweep is the core analysis of the /sweep/ service: for a chosen scheme (user profile, vibration-bar geometry, grip, exercise with phase, MVC and %MVC) the engine computes grip-zone response, dynamic forces, chain and bearing reactions over a 381-point grid from 10 to 200 Hz, including the unbalance force growth F₀(f) = m_ecc · e · ω². Output: body-part load curves, resonance markers, ISO limit. Curves are cached in PhysicsResult.curves_json.
