Body-part load share

MIDA

Short definition

Normalized load share of a body part (arms / back / chest+abs / legs) in holding the load.

Full definition

A body-part share equals the region’s summed muscle contributions divided by all muscles’ sum (Σ = 1). The body-part curve on the sweep chart = share × (P_static + 2·F_hand_dyn(f)) in kgf. If a phase has no anatomy rows, all phases of the exercise are used; with no rows at all the load is assigned to the arms (with a note). Catalog regions map: upper_limb → arms, trunk → back/chest+abs, lower_limb → legs.

Examples

Biceps curl: arms 93%, back 2.6%, chest+abs 4.2%.
